When mobility scooter is used daily it will need to be charged overnight for 8 hours.
 
When mobility scooter is used less frequently it will still need to be charged once a week, otherwise the battery may go flat.

The distance/range specifications that are given are accurate, but one must take into account the terrain or area that is being covered.
For example if it a hilly area this will reduce the distance/range significantly.

No you do not need a Driving Licence, as a mobility scooter does not go over 8mph therefore does not need a licence to be driven.
